Our Story
Born from academic research.

ScipherX Technology Labs is a UK-based post-quantum resistant and AI cybersecurity company. We have brought together globally leading academic researchers in cryptography and seasoned industry practitioners to build a world-class Platform as a Service cybersecurity suite — centred on our flagship technology, SAIC.
Our journey began with a fundamental recognition: the cryptographic standards underpinning enterprise security were built for a world that no longer exists. With quantum computers advancing rapidly and AI-driven attacks evolving at machine speed, the industry needed a completely different approach — not an improvement on legacy tools, but a ground-up reimagining of what enterprise security could be.
SAIC is the result of years of academic research and real-world deployment. It is standards-based, post-quantum resistant, and designed from first principles to be the security infrastructure of the next decade. Although our execution base includes the USA, we are onboarding customers worldwide, working closely with them to deploy innovative solutions across every sector.

Our founding principles
Security is a business priority, not just a technology problem
The days of managing cybersecurity purely as an IT issue are over. Cyber threats are now systemic business risks that demand Board-level transparency and strategic investment.
Post-quantum readiness is urgent — not a future consideration
"Harvest now, decrypt later" attacks are already happening. Data encrypted today with classical cryptography will be decrypted by quantum computers within years. The time to act is now.
Security and usability must not be in conflict
The most secure system is the one that people actually use. SAIC is designed to be as easy to integrate as any other API — because security that creates friction gets bypassed.

ScryptX is a wholly owned subsidiary of ScipherX, focused on delivering a family of consumer and enterprise security applications powered by the SAIC platform. Where ScipherX provides the cryptographic infrastructure, ScryptX brings that power to end users.
ScryptX Mail — the world's first truly private and secure email client — has been approved by Google, Apple, and Microsoft and is available on all major platforms. ScryptX Encryptor provides cloud-agnostic encrypted file storage and sharing.

Our Ecosystem
A platform built to power a generation of specialisations
ScipherX SAIC is the core cryptographic infrastructure layer. On top of it, we and our partners build sector-specific security products — each tailored to the compliance, workflow, and threat profile of a particular industry. ScryptX is the first and most prominent example: a wholly owned subsidiary delivering encrypted email and file storage to end users, powered entirely by SAIC.
The same model extends to other sectors. A maritime operator builds SAIC-powered vessel communications under their own brand. A healthcare provider deploys SAIC as the cryptographic backbone for patient record protection. Defence integrators embed SAIC into mission-critical infrastructure. ScipherX provides the platform, the standards, and the governance — the sector specialist provides the domain expertise and the market channel.
